THE ARTISTS

Every detail of the Miss Fuller Hotel has been carefully designed and selected in the spirit of Art Nouveau heritage.

Nothing was left to chance. Wood, glass, metal, and wallpaper are all present, making the hotel truly exceptional.

On the ground floor

Artist Raphaëlle Peria invites you aboard a boat to admire the panorama nature offers with its trees through the changing seasons.

From the budding spring, the lush summer, the warm hues of autumn, to the snow of winter, nature becomes a spectacle to behold.

The artwork is delicate, with the material scratched to reveal the heart of the paper. On a monumental carpet covered with water lilies drawn by the artist, immerse yourself in the Chef’s exceptional menu and be tempted by flavors from both past and present.

On the 1st Floor

Artist Camille Chastang plays with contrasts. While the hallway is lined with black-and-white wallpaper dotted with handcrafted vegetal cameos, the room is a vibrant display of colors.

Luxuriant flowers cover the walls, echoing the wallpapers of that era and the colors of Miss Fuller’s gowns during her performances.

On the 2nd Floor

Artist Fabrice Cazenave invites you to sleep. The hallway presents a night-time nature scene created on faded fabric, enhanced with botanical charcoal.

The room, meanwhile, is covered in graphite on which the artist has drawn two sleep-promoting plants: verbena and chamomile. These drawings are achieved by erasing parts of the material to reveal the underlying paper.

On the 3rd Floor

Artist Chloé Dugit-Gros expresses her graphic language through a lexicon of shapes inspired by Art Nouveau. The brushstrokes on the carpet perfectly echo the geometry of the walls, with designs that explore the relationship between patterns.

The repetition of flowers and shapes invites guests to come closer to the walls to discover all the details.

On the 4th Floor

Artist Camille Fischer invites you on a journey. She plays with the positive and negative created by drawing on fine paper.

She reveals both the front and back of her work. In the rooms, the experience is exotic, with lush nature scenes climbing up to the ceiling.

The 5th Floor

The 5th floor offers four duplex suites with breathtaking views over the rooftops of Paris, each designed with works by invited artists.

LES ARTISTES

RAPHAËLLE PERIA

Raphaëlle Peria lives and works in Paris. She invites us to look differently at her images, which attract us from afar.

A second reading leads us to discover what lies behind the beauty of the worlds we try to reconstruct at home.

Here, his works compose an environment that is both fragile and fascinating.

Through her approach of direct action on her medium, the artist reveals a state of a natural environment that is gradually altering.

CAMILLE CHASTANG

Camille Chastang lives and works in Normandy. After training in Textile Design, she left the Applied Arts to enter the Beaux-Arts.

With these two courses under her belt and a diploma from the Villa Arson in Nice, she claims in her work an equal status between the decorative arts and the fine arts.

Camille Chastang’s work in the visual arts is linked to a more theoretical reflection on drawing as a medium, and on the hierarchy of mediums, forms and subjects within drawing practices. Through her practice, both drawn and written, she aims to deconstruct the power relationships between artistic practices and the value relationships between subjects.

Camille Chastang lives and works in Normandy, she is represented by Galerie Double V.

FABRICE CAZENAVE

Fabrice Cazenave lives and works in Paris. He began classical dance at a very early age before joining Claude Bardouil’s PMA dance theatre company in 1998, while studying at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse.

Since 2006 he has devoted himself primarily to drawing. He explores the close links that operate between a place, the people who pass through it and the energy flows that result.

He seeks to discover how an environment is capable of transforming us through the sensations it gives us, and how our cognitive biases, knowledge and beliefs can distort our perceptions and understanding of the world.

Fabrice Cazenave is represented by John Marchant Gallery and Galerie la Ferronnerie / Brigitte Négrier.

CHLOÉ
DUGIT-GROS

Chloé Dugit-Gros lives and works in Paris. Her work is permeated by elementary forms that appear in drawings, are transposed into sculptures, form environments and make video appearances.

They seem to live an autonomous life, wandering from one medium to another, among all those that the artist experiments with.

Chloé Dugit-Gros draws on floors that can be walked on, makes woollen images that can be stroked, and considers her Plexiglas sculptures as drawings in space.

All her works are based on drawing, which is one of her founding practices. In her studio practice, she experiments with techniques and composes empirically. She also works more in situ, when she intervenes specifically in places.

CAMILLE FISCHER

Camille Fischer lives and works between Strasbourg and Paris. She cultivates an extremely strong link between drawing and performance, fabrics and materials.

At once fantastical, sentimental, philosophical and psychological, or poetic and prosaic, her works appear as fragments and ornaments of a choreography whose remnants she preserves.

In certain respects, she is part of a Symbolist heritage, referring in particular to William Morris and Huysmans.

Comparable in its sophistication, her work nevertheless differs from it, refusing morbid fascination but retaining the historical concern of artists of the time, faced with the upheavals heralded by the industrial revolution, which for her generation echoed the comparable challenges of globalisation. Camille Fischer is represented by the Galerie Maïa Muller.
