Exhibitions

Just a stone's throw from avenue Mac-Mahon, on avenue des Champs-Élysées, is the Grand Palais, an iconic Parisian landmark. It hosts major art exhibitions, cultural events and international happenings, making it a key cultural center in Paris.

The area is also home to a number of art galleries, notably on avenue Matignon, which exhibit contemporary and classical artists

Shows & Cinema

If you're looking for something to do in the evening, check out the wide range of shows on offer at the many theatres in the area. These include the Salle Pleyel, an iconic concert venue, particularly for lovers of classical music and jazz; the Lido2, a legendary cabaret converted into an international musical theatre where spectators, seated on velvet benches, discover a form of immersive theatre where the fourth wall between the auditorium and the stage disappears; and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, which offers a varied programme including operas, classical music concerts and dance shows.

If you prefer to relax and watch a film in the evening, you can take advantage of the programme at Publicis Cinemas or the independent Cinéma le Balzac and Cinéma Mac-Mahon, less than 10 minutes' walk away.

Avenue des Champs-Élysées is one of the most famous avenues in the world. Here you'll find a wide range of luxury boutiques, including Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Saint Laurent, as well as international brands such as Maje, Bexley, Galerie Lafayette, Rituals, Moncler and Nike. For more upmarket shopping, head to Avenue Montaigne or Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, home to some of the world's top fashion designers.

In the lively area around Avenue des Ternes, you'll find typical Parisian bistros and refined restaurants.

A few metres away, straddling rue Poncelet and rue Bayen, the Poncelet market is one of the most famous in Paris, offering a wide choice of typical shops.

Chez Gabrielle is an excellent option for discovering classic French cuisine in a cosy setting just a few steps from the hotel. Nearby, you can discover traditional French cuisine on the terrace of Bistrot Flaubert.
